This is one of three final illustrations of the Greek Gods. My aim was to incorporate symbols that were relevant to the corresponding God that i was drawing. This Illustration is the Greek God of the Sea, Poseidon. Symbols include; the horse, the trident, the dolphin. I also added some fish, a coral reef and wave style scroll work to emphasise that he was the god of the sea. This pieces took around 25+hrs to complete.
