My friend asked me to design a tattoo for him. He asked for an image of Anubis the egyptian shepherd of the dead. The reason is he and I were involved in a rockslide where he was struck by a rock I estimate at sixty pounds. He nearly died. His dog, Jack Otis (who is really his own dog) is depicted in this drawing. Jack Otis stood watch as I ran down the trail to stop a car to get help. The first car I pulled over was a maroon range rover driven by the head of search and rescue.   So this is the design I’ve come up with of Anubis. Stay tuned for more.
