This mixed media collage is part of a body of work that I created from paper bits and cloth remnants, isolating floral prints and patterns, and assembling them to form still life compositions.
Oormila Vijayakrishnan Prahlad is a Sydney artist, poet, and pianist. She holds a Masters in English. Oormila has been painting and exhibiting for the past twenty years. She has showcased her art and accompanying poetry in India, Singapore, and Australia, and her paintings can be found in many private collections. She was a finalist in the Waverley Woollahra 9X5 Landscape Prize 2018.
