FANCL X Sunny Gu for FANCL’s 35th Anniversary (2nd product of our limited edition series: Poppy) ⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯Poppy: beauty, fun-loving and elegance. It’s such a unique flower! It looks distinct from different perspectives. FANCL team and I spent so much time trying to find the best perspective to portray this special flower. We finally decided that we will need to include a few angles of poppy in the design. The delicacy of poppy’s petals reminds me of ballerina’s tutu dress, and the thin stems looks so elegant yet strong. So I let the ballet girl gracefully holding the poppies while dancing.
