The Boys of Riverdale Archie comics is a part of my childhood: I grew up reading and collecting the issues, eventually copying the characters and using them as reference for drawings for school projects. I guess you could say the comics “taught” me...

Archie comics is a part of my childhood: I grew up reading and collecting the issues, eventually copying the characters and using them as reference for drawings for school projects. I guess you could say the comics “taught” me how to draw human figures.

So when I did these Riverdale portraits, I thought of mixing line art with watercolor as a nod to the comic. Hehe.

Gearing up to draw the ladies as well. Stay tuned. 😄
