A cartoon hero of mine, Gene Deitch, posted up one of my drawings I mailed him of one of his coolest characters: Terr’ble Thompson, precursor to Deitch’s other cool TT: Tom Terrific! Says Gene: "An excitable fan with an exotic name, Jeaux Janovsky, sent me his special interpretation of my Tom Terrific. I love it!"

I had met Gene a few years back at a screening tribute hosted by Jerry Beck in 2010 at Cinefamily. Here’s a pic from that night.
